On Sept 12th, 2023, IRSEM welcomed a mixed delegation composed of representatives of Charles University (Prague) and Paris-Panthéon-Assas (PPA) of which IRSEM is the partner institute. Last summer, PPA joined the Alliance 4EU+ - a network of European universities including Charles University as well as Heidelberg University, Sorbonne University, the University of Copenhagen, the University of Geneva, the University of Milan and the University of Warsaw.

Pr. Julia Grignon (IRSEM scientific director), Dr. Philippe Perchoc (head of IRSEM-Europe based in Brussels) and Wendy Ramadan-Alban (IRSEM head of international development and institutional relations) and their counterparts explored together the leads in scientific collaboration between IRSEM and the Faculty of social sciences, Charles university, which has developed a strong interest in security studies. These new institutional connections will boost the European focus of IRSEM’s activities, a top priority for the coming years
