Biographie

Dr. Wendy Ramadan-Alban occupe actuellement le poste de Déléguée au développement international et aux relations institutionnelles de l’IRSEM. Elle détient une thèse de sciences politiques obtenue en 2022 à l’Université de Namur et à l’EHESS. Sa thèse a reçu un prix en sciences politiques de la Chancellerie des universités de Paris (décembre 2023). Auparavant, Madame Ramadan-Alban a étudié le persan à l’INALCO ainsi qu’à l’Institut Dehkhodâ basé à Téhéran (Iran), où elle a obtenu, en 2012, un certificat de niveau avancé.

 

 

Dr. Wendy Ramadan-Alban has been the Head of International Development and Institutional Partnerships at IRSEM since November 2022. She holds a PhD in political sciences from the University of Namur, Belgium, and from EHESS based in Paris (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales). Her PhD dissertation was awarded in December 2023 the "Chancellerie des universités de Paris" Prize in political sciences.  Her thesis focused on the grand strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran through the lens of the negotiations on Iran's nuclear programme (2003-2015). She also holds an “advanced level” certificate in Persian language from the Dehkhodâ Institute based in Tehran where she studied for one year (2012).
