During her stay, Mrs Zubeldia was personally welcomed by the NIDS President, Mr. Takeshi Ishikawa, and by the NIDS Vice President, Major General Yoshiki Adachi, to discuss the specific links between both institutes and to come up to date with Indo-Pacific's latest developments. 

Besides, this dialogue led to a series of seminars and roundtables on defence industry and innovation topics (drones and AI, cyber and space), with the participation of Japanese researchers, military personnel, the French embassy in Japan, as well as the acting IRSEM director, Chief Engineer Benoît Rademacher.

This exchange will continue over time, with a joint publication with NIDS researchers in December 2024.
