Biographie

Caroline Verstappen is Principal State Administration Officer and Secretary General of IRSEM. A graduate of the Lille Institute of Political Studies, she holds a postgraduate degree in European public policy from the Strasbourg Institute of Political Studies. After serving as head of the Euro Info Centre in Champagne-Ardenne, she was recruited by the Ministry of Defence in 2002 as a research officer at the Centre for Defence Social Science Studies (SGA). In 2010, she joined IRSEM as head of development, then head of the research support office.
