Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine is fundamentally reshaping European security. More than three and a half years into this conflict, what strategic lessons have emerged? What does it reveal about the capabilities, tactics and evolutions of the Russian Armed forces? What are Ukraine’s security needs, now and in the future? What has been the role of the United States in this context and how is it likely to evolve? What are the implications for Europe’s defence posture and the European security order more broadly? To address these critical questions, IRSEM is pleased to welcome Michael Kofman, one of the leading authorities on the Russian and Ukrainian armed forces and the Russia-Ukraine war.
