Russia’s war in Ukraine has now entered its fifth year. Thanks to its own innovation, economic and social mobilization, and support of the European allies, Kyiv is able to deny Putin a victory. But the outcome of this war still remains unclear and the Russian threat is hanging over the continent. The changing nature of war, due to technology that enables asymmetric strategy, means that European defence and security systems need rapid change.

  • What are the main lessons from Ukraine in boosting defence readiness for conflicts of tomorrow?

  • Do we have a plan to defend Europe without America ?

  • What formats of mutual collaboration and integration within the EU and NATO are most effective?
