IRSEM organizes the first edition of PARIS DEFENCE YOUNG LEADERS

The Young Leaders program aims to create a network of young personalities, to build awareness on the French vision of defence issues, to encourage dialogue between representatives of various countries and institutions on these subjects and to establish a cooperation spirit that will allow exchanges to last beyond the time spent together in Paris.

From 28 March to April 1, 2022, IRSEM is organizing the first edition of the Paris Defence Young Leaders program in the context of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Institute will host twelve European promising figures in the field of defence and security, selected with the help of the French embassies all over Europe, from Tbilissi to Madrid and from Helsinki to Pristina.
The Young Leaders program aims to create a network of young personalities, to build awareness on the French vision of defence issues, to encourage dialogue between representatives of various countries and institutions on these subjects and to establish a cooperation spirit that will allow exchanges to last beyond the time spent together in Paris. The theme of this 2022 edition is "anticipation and preparation for the future".


Will participate in the PARIS DEFENCE YOUNG LEADERS program :

Dr. Tamas Peter Baranyi (Hungary), Zebulon Carlander (Sweden), Célia Marie Chausse (Austria), Liina Lumiste (Estonia), Dr. Roberta Mulas (Italia), Dr. Kristina Prismantaitè (Lituania), Dr. Jacek Marcin Raubo (Poland), Dr. Frank Sauer (Germany), Pedro Seabra (Portugal), Marta Summers (Spain), Jeta Tela-Shema (Kosovo) et Olesya Vartanyan (Georgia).
Sadly, the Ukrainian participant who had been selected will not, because of the war launched by Russia on his country, be able to attend.
